Text Benjamin (SMS) Messaging Program

Overview

Montaic is a subscription platform for licensed real estate agents. Its assistant, Benjamin, can send and receive text messages (SMS/MMS) with subscribers who have added and verified their own mobile number. Only the verified account holder’s number receives messages. Montaic does not message any third parties, and it never buys, sells, shares, or transfers mobile opt-in information.

How to opt in

Opting in happens inside your own Montaic account. There is no way to receive messages without completing these steps yourself:

  1. Sign in to your Montaic account at montaic.com.
  2. Go to Settings > Connections > Text Benjamin.
  3. Enter your own mobile number and tap Send code.
  4. Enter the one-time verification code Benjamin texts to that number. This confirms you own the number and consent to receive messages.

What messages you receive

Message types: a one-time verification code when you connect your number, replies to messages you send Benjamin (such as drafts you request), and notifications about new leads and pending tasks in your account.

Sample messages

  • “Montaic (Benjamin): New lead. Jordan Lee just inquired about 445 Kawaihae St. Want me to draft a reply? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”
  • “Montaic (Benjamin): Your listing at 1242 Kalakaua Ave is now Active. I have queued 3 social posts for your approval. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Frequency, rates, and opt-out

Frequency, rates, and opt-out: Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. You can also disconnect your number under Settings > Connections > Text Benjamin.

Your privacy

No sharing of mobile information: We do not sell your mobile phone number, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
